RunWashington Article
This week we were featured on RunWashington's website and newsletter. Ashley ran with author and blogger Jamie Corey, who kindly offered to write an article focusing on the running aspect of Run2Connect’s trans-America initiative.
We are excited to see that others believe, as we do, that the run will be a unique way to catch people's attention in communities across the country. Articles like this will help us find a broad online audience to complement the people we are fortunate enough to meet in person.
If you know someone in local media who might be interested in writing about our planned adventure, please let us know!
In other news:
- We continue our search for a support vehicle for the journey. Please contact us if you have ideas regarding a vehicle acquisition or donation.
- If you or someone you know lives/works anywhere along the route and would be interested in meeting us, let us know!
- Ashley has received more excellent care from Terrel Hale, attended a very informative running clinic with Juda McGannon at Transition Triathalon in Leesburg, VA, and had running photographs taken by the immensely talented Melissa Hope.
We love hearing how people are interested in being involved in this initiative. That energy will no doubt keep us moving once we leave Portland in July!
